Solo exhibition "Black Roses" slovak painter Lucia Tallová (1985) introduce a new large-scale format paintings from the eponymous series. Urban landscape, with the typical monochrome colourfulness, author supply with roses that are falling and are melted in the illustrated scenery. Roses in her story symbolize the nostalgy and sentiment and refer to the female world. After the recent return of Hong Kong, where the author participated in the arts fair Art Central Hong Kong, in addition to paintings themes from Bratislava occurs and this city, which helped emerging landscape painting.
Lucia Tallová in 2011 graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, at the Department of Painting and Other Media, in the studio of prof. Ivan Csudai. Her work received international award Strabag International Artaward 2010 - Award of Recognition and the winner of the painting in 2013 VUB Foundation, which decided by an international jury, led by chief juror Amy Dickson, curator of the Tate Gallery in London. She participated in the residency in Vienna (Strabag Artstudio, 2011) and California's Santa Cruz (Regular Line, platform 1-12, 2014).

In Pictures brings together two contradictory visual experience: an impersonal product of industrial society with a mysterious identifiable landscape. In paintings using ornamental structures and shapes, created authorial technique of applying embroidered and crocheted fabrics on canvas. Working with lace presents not only some works of visual quality, but also to the inner meaning of the work.
